
Two Foreign Inmates Escape San Pedro Prison in La Paz
La Paz, Bolivia – Two foreign inmates, identified as Cirilo Reiner Herrera, 23, from Peru, and Yader Gilbert Da Silva Gaspar, 35, from Brazil, successfully escaped from the San Pedro prison in La Paz during the early hours of Saturday. The escapees reportedly utilized mattress stuffing to create a makeshift rope, which they used to descend approximately 18 meters from the roof of the prison's Poza sector to the adjacent 20 de Octubre Avenue. According to preliminary reports, the individuals, one of whom is identified as a member of Brazil's First Capital Command, took separate routes after reaching the street. Authorities have confirmed the escape but have yet to release an official statement or detailed report on the incident.
