Carla López, the owner of the destroyed kiosk, recounted her harrowing experience. "I was sitting there just five or ten minutes before, and I stood up to pick something up. Thankfully, I moved, because the roof might have fallen on me," López stated, visibly distressed. She described how the truck, instead of following the usual route for queuing vehicles, turned sharply from a closer point, pulling down her kiosk's structure and scattering merchandise. López appealed to the authorities and the truck driver to take responsibility for the damages. "All I want is for them to replace my source of income, because I also have debts with the bank that I need to pay," she pleaded.
