Rubel Returns to Intimate Sounds on New Album ‘Beleza’
Brazilian singer-songwriter Rubel recently released his fourth studio album, ‘Beleza. Mas o que a gente faz com isso?’. In an exclusive interview with Rolling Stone Brasil, Rubel described the album as a return to his roots, a more intimate style of music focused on his connection with his guitar. "The words were from an album that I produced with many people, and that goes to pagode, funk, forró, and 70s soul," Rubel explained, highlighting the collaborative nature of his previous work. He contrasted this with the new album, stating, "The most opposite movement possible was to return to my room, to my guitar, and to an intimate aesthetic." The album, recorded over six months, reflects Rubel's desire for a more personal and authorial sound. The full interview is available on Rolling Stone Brasil’s YouTube channel.
