Budapest, Hungary – An incident at the Puskás Aréna has brought into question security practices at major event venues, following a video posted by a user identified as RoMarco⚽️ (romarco.hu). On September 9, 2025, the user uploaded footage depicting his forceful removal from the stadium by security personnel, despite his assertion of holding a valid ticket. In his video description, the user stated, "They threw me out like a criminal…" He elaborated on his experience, claiming his ticket was validated upon initial entry and again after he sought assistance to re-enter. However, he alleges that a security guard subsequently declared his ticket fake, leading to his ejection. "Three security guards, with my head down, my hands behind my back, threw me out like a piece of shit," the user recounted, adding a sarcastic thank you to the guards. The video shows the user attempting to record the identification numbers of several security personnel, including those labeled "640," "1-34," and "1301." The stewards are visible in high-visibility vests, some orange and others blue, with "VALTON SECURITY" and "STEWARD" markings. One security guard is heard instructing the user to "go outside" and bidding him "goodbye." This incident highlights concerns regarding ticket validation procedures and the conduct of security staff at large public gatherings. As of now, no official statement has been released by the stadium or security company regarding the event.
