Dublin Airport: Beat the Morning Rush with Aer Lingus's Evening Bag Drop Dublin Airport travelers can now avoid the stress of early morning check-in lines thanks to Aer Lingus's convenient evening bag drop service. Available between April and September for flights departing between 5:30 AM and 8:00 AM, this service allows passengers to drop off their checked luggage the evening before their flight. "It's a game-changer!" says Russell Alford, a Dublin resident featured in a recent TikTok video demonstrating the service. Alford highlights the ease and speed of the process, noting that he was able to drop off his bags in just a couple of minutes. "The airport was practically empty," he adds. This service is particularly beneficial for those living near the airport or those who prefer to avoid the early morning rush. The service operates between 5 PM and 10 PM the evening before the flight. Aer Lingus's initiative offers a smoother travel experience for early morning departures, making the process more efficient and less stressful for passengers.
