Dallas, Texas – Country music star Pat Green has opened up about the profound loss of his brother, John, who was among the victims of the devastating Texas floods. In a recent interview, Green shared a tender and humorous memory, offering a glimpse into their close relationship. "My favorite memory of my brother John was when he came to me," Green recounted, smiling faintly. "I bought him a Nissan Pathfinder. It was yellow and had nine million miles on it, but he didn't have a car, so I helped him out." Green then chuckled as he revealed, "And he hawked it to have a keg party." He clarified that his brother was very young, in college at TCU, at the time. Green reflected on their bond, stating, "John and I were just buddies, you know. We went fishing all the time. It was different." He emphasized that his family's focus was always on "us," not on his individual success. "It's really not about me," he added. The floods have claimed numerous lives across Texas, leaving a trail of destruction and heartbreak. Pat Green's candid sharing underscores the personal toll these natural disasters take on families, even those in the public eye. His tribute serves as a poignant reminder of the human stories behind the headlines.
