Radu Negru College Hosts Unique Cultural Symposium in Făgăraș

The seventh edition of the National Symposium ",Cultura noastră, referința noastră" took place Friday at the Radu Negru National College in Făgăraș, Romania. The event, organized by the college, focused on the places, people, and events that define traditional Romanian culture. According to the college director, Prof. Dr. Maria Racu, "This year's edition is unique in its format and theme, combining discussions with a short theatrical performance." The symposium involved 220 students from six sections, plus additional students from the gymnasium, and approximately 40 teachers from the college and other counties. The event also included six volunteers and a special guest from the Confucius Institute in Sibiu. The success of the symposium underscores the importance of preserving and celebrating traditional culture within the local community and beyond.
