Serbian Businessman Accuses Two of Assault, Police Response Questioned
Belgrade, Serbia – May 11, 2025 – A well-known Serbian businessman and media personality, Saša Mirković, has publicly accused two individuals, Velibor Popović and Boško Janković, of assaulting him outside the Sheraton Hotel in Belgrade. Mirković, who is CEO of Hype Production, posted a video on social media showing his injuries, which included broken bones in his arm. He stated that he had filed a police report but expressed dissatisfaction with their handling of the case. "They easily accepted the report and then refused to even listen to me," Mirković said in the video. The incident has raised concerns about safety and security in the city and sparked significant online discussion. Police have not yet issued a public statement on the matter. The investigation is ongoing.
