Notorious Rio Drug Lord TH da Maré Killed in BOPE Raid

Rio de Janeiro police announced the death of notorious drug trafficker Thiago da Silva Folly, known as TH da Maré, during a pre-dawn raid in the Complexo da Maré. The operation resulted in the temporary closure of sections of the Linha Vermelha and Avenida Brasil highways as police engaged TH and his associates.
