One former tiny-home owner shared a jaw-dropping tour of her small but mighty house — and it left viewers in awe.
CORBIN, KY – A recent video offers an intimate look inside "Little Blue," a 200-square-foot tiny house located in Kentucky. The owner, Shawna, provides a detailed tour of the compact yet highly functional home, which she previously occupied full-time with her two dogs and now lists on Airbnb. The tour begins with a spacious screened-in porch, described by Shawna as larger than the house itself, serving as an outdoor dining and relaxation area. Inside, the living space features a bed that doubles as a couch, complete with a television and shelving. The kitchen is equipped with a small stove, sink, and ample counter space, with a hot water heater cleverly concealed in a cabinet. Innovative storage solutions are integrated throughout, including drawers built into the stairs leading to the main bedroom loft. The bathroom, though compact, includes a toilet, a small sink, and a shower with a pebble floor and corrugated metal walls. Shawna notes, "When I have guests that are over six feet tall, they kind of struggle in the shower, but I warn them that it's a tight fit." A second, smaller loft provides additional storage. The property boasts a large, fenced backyard with a fire pit and a matching shed adorned with a mural of Kentucky's state butterfly. Shawna emphasizes the peaceful, private country setting, stating, "It was so peaceful. Like that's my backyard. It was fully fenced in for my girls." The video effectively demonstrates how thoughtful design can maximize space and comfort in a tiny home.
