Kiambu County Invests in Juja Farm: New Hospital, Market, and More

Kiambu County Governor Wamatangi's administration is actively working to improve the lives of residents in Juja Farm. A recent initiative saw the distribution of free farm inputs to local farmers in Kalimoni Ward, Juja Sub-County. This is part of a broader plan to upgrade the area's infrastructure. The administration plans to construct a Ksh48 million level three hospital with over 36 beds, upgrading the existing Juja Farm Dispensary. A Ksh50 million modern market and bus park with free kiosks for local traders are also in the works. The Juja Farm Vocational Training Centre will be upgraded and equipped with a cabro-making machine. One farmer, upon receiving her supplies, expressed her gratitude, stating, "This is a great help to us; we appreciate the county government's support." The projects demonstrate the county government's commitment to improving healthcare, economic opportunities, and skills development in the area.
