Ghana's Former Finance Minister Declared Wanted
Ghana's Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has declared former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta a wanted man. This follows his failure to appear for questioning in five separate criminal investigations. The OSP's announcement, made during a press conference, stated that Ofori-Atta had been added back to the wanted list. "Ken Ofori-Atta, a wanted man," the OSP spokesperson stated, "After accommodating you for at least sixty-seven days, when you knew your condition had changed, and you never bothered to tell the OSP that there's been a fundamental change in your condition... acting in bad faith, and for which reason, we have stopped this party," the spokesperson said. The OSP plans to pursue criminal charges in court, whether Ofori-Atta is present or not. This development has sparked significant public interest and discussion in Ghana.
