Fast Food Chains Unveil Summer Menus and Returning Favorites Food enthusiasts have a lot to look forward to as several popular fast food and beverage chains announce new and returning menu items this summer. The updates, shared on June 20, 2025, include a mix of sweet treats, savory breakfast options, and unique global flavors. Starbucks is set to bring back its highly anticipated raspberry syrup by the end of July after a multi-year absence, offering a limited run for fans. Shake Shack's popular Dubai Chocolate milkshake, featuring a pistachio base, is officially expanding its availability nationwide following successful tests in Miami, New York, and Los Angeles. Gong Cha is introducing a new dragon fruit menu starting July 1, which will include a Dragon Fruit Mango Milk Tea, a Dragon Fruit Oolong Lemonade, and a Dragon Fruit Mango Smoothie, available until the end of August. Crumbl Cookies is collaborating with Benson Boone to launch the "Moonbeam Ice Cream Cookie" on June 23. This chilled cookie features a cookies and cream base with a lemon-berry inspired topping and marshmallow drizzle. Hardee's is reintroducing the Hillshire Farm Smoked Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit and adding a new BBQ Pulled Pork Frisco Burger, both available through August 19. Hard Rock Cafe is embarking on a "World Burger Tour," where each global location will offer a unique burger. The winning burger from this tour will be rolled out to all Hard Rock locations worldwide later this summer. For the Chicago area, Portillo's is expanding its breakfast menu test to several new locations. Del Taco is also enhancing its menu with slow-cooked pork carnitas, available in burritos, street tacos, loaded fries, and quesadillas. Additionally, Del Taco is bringing back its Funnel Cake Fries and a range of Independence Poppers drinks, including lemonade, Sprite, and milkshake options.
