Massive Amazon Theft Ring Busted in L.A.: DHS Raids Expose Transnational Gangs

Los Angeles-based crime rings are responsible for the theft of Amazon goods worth $83 million. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) conducted raids, resulting in the arrest of more than a dozen suspects. According to court documents, the suspects face charges ranging from cargo theft to kidnapping and attempted murder. Some of the arrested individuals have ties to the Mexican Serenio gang. "We're going after transnational criminal organizations," said one law enforcement official in an interview. The operation also recovered cash and firearms.
