Colombia's Gran Tomatina: A Tomato-Fueled Fiesta

The Colombian town of Sutamarchán recently hosted its 15th annual Gran Tomatina festival, a vibrant celebration of the region's tomato-growing economy. More than 20,000 people participated, engaging in a massive tomato fight that utilized over 45 tons of overripe tomatoes. "It was incredible! A sea of red, and everyone was laughing and having fun," recounted one participant.
