Triple Homicide in Wenatchee: Manhunt Underway for Father
Wenatchee Mourns Three Young Sisters; Father Sought in Triple Homicide A tragic event unfolded in Wenatchee, Washington, on June 4th, 2025, when three young sisters, Payton (9), Evelyn (8), and Olivia (5) Decker were found dead near a campground. The manhunt for their father, 32-year-old Travis Decker, is underway. Authorities believe the girls were suffocated. The case has shocked the community, with one resident stating, "I don't know what this mother is going through. It's probably the hell on earth." The video shows footage of a community vigil, police press conference and mugshots of the suspect. While the initial lack of an Amber Alert raised questions, authorities clarified that the case did not meet the criteria for such an alert, which requires a reasonable belief of abduction and imminent danger to the child. Decker has a history of mental health issues, including a diagnosis of borderline personality disorder, and was supposed to be receiving treatment. The EMPA, a less urgent alert, was issued instead. The investigation continues.
