He revealed that over 50% of the cost per liter is due to taxes, including a hydrocarbon tax (approx. 50 cents/liter for gasoline, 40 cents/liter for diesel) and VAT. Ebenezer pointed out that VAT is applied to the hydrocarbon tax, creating a double taxation effect. He stated, "You are paying more than 50% of what you pay per liter in taxes." This analysis aims to clarify fuel cost components for consumers.
