Streaming Giants Face Subscriber Exodus Amid Content Debates A recent report by Business Insider indicates that streaming services Disney+ and Hulu experienced substantial subscriber losses in September. Disney+ saw a drop of 3 million US subscribers, while Hulu recorded 4.1 million cancellations. These figures reportedly more than double the average monthly cancellations observed over the previous three months. Political commentator Hasan Piker addressed these developments, linking the cancellations to the ongoing "Go Woke or Go Broke" discussion. Piker stated, "It turns out, liberals do not play around, brother. They do not play around with their Jimmy Kimmel." He suggested that these subscriber losses reflect a broader societal shift, particularly among older demographics. Piker further elaborated on what he perceives as a growing radicalization within the "boomer block," asserting that they are "infinitely more radicalized than you think they are."
