Українська кухня – це значно більше, аніж борщ та вареники. У регіонах є смаколики, які цілком заслуговують бути на столах найдорожчих ресторанів.
A recent video by local culinary enthusiast Tanya showcases the preparation of Mititei, a dish she presents as an authentic Ukrainian Bessarabian specialty. The recipe involves grinding 1.5 kg of beef twice, then combining it with 2 tsp of salt, 3 tbsp of starch, 1 tsp of pepper mix, 1 tsp of soda, and 200-300 ml of milk. The mixture is then kneaded for 5-8 minutes until uniform. The process continues with forming the mixture into sausage-like shapes, which are then lightly fried until a crust forms. Following this, the Mititei are stewed in a tomato paste sauce for 20-30 minutes. The final dish is served with mashed potatoes and a fresh cabbage salad. Tanya highlights the dish's incredible aroma and taste, noting that while this is her version, each village in Bessarabia may have its unique variation of the recipe. The video also features a product placement for a Rotex meat grinder, offering viewers a discount code for purchases.
