Four Hospitalized After Elevator Plunges in Timișoara

Timișoara, Romania – Four individuals, including a child, were hospitalized following an elevator malfunction in an apartment building on Eroilor de la Tisa Boulevard. The incident occurred when the elevator unexpectedly descended from the second floor to the basement. According to authorities, two adults and a minor were inside the elevator at the time of the fall. A 52-year-old maintenance worker, who was attempting to free the trapped individuals, also sustained injuries during the rescue efforts. All four were transported to the hospital for specialized medical care. Police from Section 2 Timișoara have initiated an investigation into the incident.
