
Timișoara Unveils Rich Cultural Calendar: Exhibitions, Festivals, and Theater Announced
Timișoara, Romania – The Timiș County Council, through its cultural institutions, has announced a vibrant calendar of temporary and permanent exhibitions, festivals, and puppet theater performances for the coming period. These events aim to enrich the cultural landscape of Timișoara and offer diverse experiences for residents and visitors. Among the highlights is the 'Intens' exhibition by renowned photographer Gelu Stănculescu, a member of the Association of Photographic Artists of Romania. Hosted at the Bastion Multifunctional Center, the exhibition is noted for its focus on inclusion and authentic artistic expression. This project, created in collaboration with model Maria Scîrlet, also serves a charitable purpose, with all proceeds from sales being donated to the Delia Association. Admission to the 'Intens' exhibition is free. Music enthusiasts are invited to the Flight Festival 2025, set to take place at the Banat Village Museum in Timișoara. This event promises a comprehensive experience, blending live music, visual arts, and technology. The festival will feature a lineup of prominent artists, including Dennis Lloyd, Inna, Puya, Killa Fonic, and Damian & Brothers. Tickets are available online, with free access for children under 13 accompanied by an adult. For younger audiences and families, the 'Merlin' Children and Youth Theater will be staging performances of 'Zaiafeturi' and 'Frumoasa adormită' this week.
