
NYC Comptroller Brad Lander Allegedly Arrested by Unidentified ICE Agents
New York City Comptroller Brad Lander was reportedly arrested on June 17, 2025, by a group of men who identified themselves as agents from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). According to reports, the individuals did not present identification or a judicial warrant, despite repeated requests from Comptroller Lander and others present. Lander was allegedly taken into custody for impeding an ICE investigation. Sources indicate that Lander was escorting an individual out of immigration court at the time of the incident.
