Woman Alleges Stalking Incidents During Solo Business Trip A woman traveling alone for a work conference has shared a series of unsettling encounters, alleging she was stalked by an unknown man during her stay. The incidents, which occurred yesterday, have raised concerns about personal safety in hotels and public spaces. The woman, who was staying overnight for a conference, described her initial scare when, at approximately 8:45 PM, someone aggressively knocked on her hotel room door. The individual identified himself as "engineering." Upon checking through the peephole, she observed a male with dark features, wearing a white shirt and a blue lanyard, looking at his phone while continuing to knock. Fearing for her safety, she did not open the door and contacted the front desk. Hotel staff confirmed no engineering team was dispatched to her floor at that time and promptly sent security to investigate. Later, she recounted two other instances involving a man matching the same description. Earlier in the day, at the conference, the man allegedly catcalled her, saying "Hey beautiful," and then attempted to get her phone number. She declined and walked away. The third encounter occurred that evening when she went to the hotel lobby to pick up a food delivery. The same man approached her again, asking if she was attending a dinner, before walking into the hotel. The woman expressed significant distress, particularly noting that the hotel's elevators require a key card to access specific floors, making the man's knowledge of her room number highly concerning. She stated, "Women shouldn't have to feel this way," emphasizing the constant fear women face regarding their safety. She reported not sleeping well due to the incidents and has arranged for coworkers to accompany her in public areas of the hotel today. The hotel's security measures and the circumstances surrounding the man's access to her floor remain under scrutiny.
