Elephant's Supermarket Snack Raid: Thailand's Unusual Monday Morning
An elephant's unexpected shopping spree: A hungry elephant caused a stir in a Thai supermarket on Monday when it wandered into the store and helped itself to a selection of snacks. The incident, captured on CCTV footage, shows the large animal navigating the aisles with surprising dexterity, knocking over shelves and grabbing bags of treats before calmly exiting the store. The owner of the supermarket, who wished to remain anonymous, stated, "I've never seen anything like it! It was quite a shock, but thankfully, no one was hurt." The elephant's raid lasted approximately 10 minutes, after which it retreated back into the nearby forest. Wildlife officials have been notified of the incident and are monitoring the situation to prevent any further disruptions.
