‘She’s sleeping on the couch’: California woman says she purchased Tempur-Pedic…
A California woman is calling out Ashley Furniture after she says the company left her elderly mother stuck with a $15,000 Tempur-Pedic mattress.
A family is seeking public support after a $15,000 mattress purchase from Ashley Furniture allegedly resulted in a distressing delivery and a refusal of return. On June 9, the mother of TikTok user Tiffany Loe purchased a Tempur-Pedic mattress from Ashley Furniture, hoping to alleviate her chronic back pain. However, upon delivery on June 12, the mattress and accompanying items were reportedly left in disarray in her bedroom, not properly set up. According to Loe, her mother, a retired cancer nurse, has been in significant pain since the delivery and has resorted to sleeping on the couch. The mother initially contacted Ashley Furniture to report the issue but received no response. Loe then intervened, contacting the company herself, only to be informed that "all sales are final" and no resolution could be offered for the improperly delivered, expensive mattress. Loe stated in her video, "My mom is not a complainer... this was the first time she decided to buy something really nice for herself." She expressed her frustration, highlighting her mother's selfless history and the company's lack of accountability. Loe is now appealing to the public via social media, urging users to tag Ashley Furniture and Tempur-Pedic in an effort to pressure the companies to address her mother's situation.
