
Thai Students' Quick Thinking Saves Classmate's Life
In a heartwarming display of quick thinking and bravery, three high school students in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, saved the life of a classmate who suffered a sudden cardiac arrest. The incident occurred on May 19, 2025, at Surathamphithak School. One of the students, speaking on condition of anonymity, recounts, "I heard someone had collapsed, so I rushed over. We knew what to do thanks to our first aid training." The video shows the students performing CPR, assisted by a school nurse. The students' swift actions, along with the nurse's expertise, managed to revive the classmate after approximately 30 minutes. The students' dedication to first aid training and their selfless act serve as an inspiration to the community. Their actions highlight the importance of first aid education and the life-saving potential of bystander intervention. The school has since recognized the students for their heroic efforts.
