Albert Ojwang' Murder: IPOA Exposes Disturbing Details in Ongoing Investigation Nairobi, Kenya – In a recent development in the ongoing investigation into the death of Albert Ojwang', the Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA) has revealed crucial details. The Deputy Chairperson of IPOA, Anne Wanjiku Mwangi, addressed the Senate, shedding light on the investigation's progress. The event took place in Kenya, and the case has drawn significant public attention. According to Mwangi, the investigation began on June 4th, 2025, after receiving a complaint from the DIG, Kenya Police. Forensic analysis linked one Kelvin Moiinde to the crime scene. Moiinde was subsequently arrested on June 5th, 2025. "Through forensic analysis, they were able to identify the link used by the blogger and the person linked to their account as one Kelvin Moiinde. On 5th June 2025, Kevin Moiinde was arrested by DCI officers from the serious crime unit at Gitukiri area," Mwangi stated. The investigation included examining CCTV footage, blood samples, and police documents. The post-mortem examination on June 10th, 2025, determined the cause of death as head injury due to blunt force trauma, neck compression, and multiple subcutaneous bruises. The IPOA has ruled out suicide. The IPOA continues its investigation, aiming to release a comprehensive report soon.
