Texas Woman Found Living with "African Tribe" in Scottish Highlands, Family Expresses Concern Jedburgh, Scotland – The family of Kaura Taylor, a Texas woman previously believed to be missing, has expressed deep concern after she was located living with a group in the Scottish Highlands. Taylor, who now identifies as Asnat, Lady Safi, of Atehene, is reportedly residing in the "Kingdom of Kubala," a self-proclaimed section of forest in Jedburgh, Scotland, under the leadership of "King Atehene and Queen Nandi." According to her aunt, Vandora Skinner, "She went missing in May. But she wasn't missing at all, she left to go live with these people." Taylor, a single mother to a one-year-old, left Texas on May 25th and entered the UK on a six-month tourist visa, reportedly concealing her connection with the group from her relatives. Another aunt, Teri Allen, conveyed the family's distress, stating, "It is very stressful, and difficult. It breaks our heart. We’re overly concerned about Kaura, but she doesn’t think anyone is concerned about her." Images circulating online show Taylor engaged in what appear to be ceremonial acts, including kneeling before the "king" and presenting offerings such as soda, cookies, and a stick. The "queen" is also depicted holding a Bible, with the commentator noting her belief that "God put her here" as a representative on Earth. The "Kingdom of Kubala" is currently depicted as a series of tents in the woods. The family fears Taylor has been manipulated by the "king and queen" and is growing increasingly worried about her well-being.
