La Paz, Bolivia – Gary Añez, former mayoral candidate for Santa Cruz, has officially announced his support for Jorge Tuto Quiroga's 'Libre' campaign in the upcoming 2025 presidential elections. The announcement came after what Añez described as an "extensive discussion" with Quiroga. Speaking to reporters, Añez stated, "We have established the course of the campaign for this final sprint, where we believe we will achieve a significant wave of votes that can give us the margin to win the election and have governability." He emphasized that common objectives and the will of the people are what unite him with Quiroga's political project. Añez clarified that any prior distance or disagreements were purely strategic and have been resolved through open dialogue. "I adopted a position because I had certain strategic disagreements with the campaign. Simply for that reason," Añez explained. In addition to his support for the 'Libre' campaign, Añez confirmed his intention to once again run for the mayor's office in Santa Cruz. "Of course, I've always said it. I don't have to hide it.
