Bolojane, nu vinde Hidroelectrica! Românii nu vor uita și nu vor ierta

Constanța, Romania - Tens of thousands of residents in Constanța have reportedly woken up to find their bank accounts frozen, with salaries, pensions, and allowances rendered inaccessible. The unprecedented move by the Romanian state has sparked widespread outrage and confusion among citizens. Unumihai, a prominent content creator, criticized the government's actions, stating, "The state has blocked tens of thousands of accounts in Constanța. Salaries, pensions, allowances – all frozen overnight without any warning." He further elaborated on the distress caused, noting, "People woke up to their cards being refused at supermarkets, pharmacies, and gas stations." The reason cited for these blockages is alleged debts to the local budget, some of which, according to Unumihai, were unknown to the individuals or even past their statute of limitations. "Some found out they had forgotten taxes from 2018," he explained. He condemned the government, asserting, "They are put on us to butcher us, to bring us to our knees, to mock us in the worst possible way." Authorities claim to have sent notifications, but many citizens deny receiving any such communication. This situation raises serious concerns about transparency and due process, as citizens are left without access to their essential funds and without clear explanations.
