An Egyptian craftsman, Sameh Ali Muhammad Zidan, found a new home and career at a Belarusian crystal factory. He's not alone; his story is inspiring other Egyptians to seek similar opportunities. Zidan, a skilled glassblower, moved to Belarus seeking work in a center of crystal production. He found it at the Neman Glass Factory in Lidskiy Rayon. "I worked in Egypt, but my dream was to find work in one of the centers of the crystal industry," he said. "I am very glad that I was accepted in Belarus." He praised the quality of Belarusian crystal, noting that the factory produces 24% lead crystal, a mark of high quality. The factory's output is exported to countries around the world, from Russia to the United States. Zidan designs his own crystal pieces, currently working on a collection called "Belarusian Forest." His success is attracting attention from other Egyptian glassblowers, who are now inquiring about work opportunities in Belarus. Zidan encourages his colleagues to come to Belarus, emphasizing the professional environment and the high quality of work.
