TinyTV 2: The Miniature Screen That Mimics Live Broadcasts
The TinyTV 2, a miniature television with a one-inch screen, is redefining how users interact with their personal video libraries. Developed by TinyCircuits, the device allows users to upload their favorite videos, which then function as channels. A standout feature is its ability to simulate a live television broadcast; when a user changes the channel using the working dials or the included tiny remote, the next video begins mid-stream, replicating the experience of tuning into an ongoing show. The TinyTV 2 is equipped with 8GB of internal storage, capable of holding approximately 10 hours of video content, and offers up to two hours of battery life. To upload videos, users must first downscale them using a dedicated desktop application before transferring them via a USB-C connection. The device's compact size is highlighted through a comparison with an original Game Boy Advance, underscoring its miniature form factor.
