Cannes 2025: L'Oréal Paris Makeup Artist Reveals Red Carpet Glow Secrets
Cannes 2025: L'Oréal Paris Makeup Artist Reveals Celebrity Glow Secrets The Cannes Film Festival is known for its glamorous attendees, and this year is no different. Vogue España recently shared a video demonstrating the makeup techniques used to create the radiant "glowy skin" look seen on many celebrities. Makeup artist Adrian Rux (@adrian_rux) used L'Oréal Paris products to showcase the process. For younger skin types, Rux highlighted the Lumi Glotion in Fair and Deep shades, emphasizing its versatility as a pre-base or highlighter. He applied it to the cheekbones, nose, and collarbone for a subtle glow. For more mature skin, like that of Andie MacDowell, he recommended using fluid bases and correctors, avoiding heavy powders. Instead, he used a minimal amount of powder and set the makeup with L'Oréal Paris Infaillible setting spray. Rux also showcased L'Oréal Paris Plump Ambition lip oil for a glossy finish and Panorama All Night Black mascara for separated, voluminous lashes. He emphasized the importance of applying mascara to the roots of the lashes for volume and using the tip vertically to lengthen the outer lashes. "The key is to use products that provide hydration and avoid overloading the skin with powder," said Rux in the video. The result is a natural, radiant look that complements the elegance of the Cannes Film Festival.
