Boston, MA – A local family is appealing to the public for assistance following a car break-in in the Beacon Hill neighborhood. On Wednesday, June 25, 2025, the car of a father whose daughter is set to marry this Saturday was targeted near Blank Street Coffee on Charles and Pinkney. Among the stolen items were personal belongings crucial for the upcoming wedding, including a laptop containing the father's speech for the ceremony. The daughter, who uploaded a video detailing the incident, stated, "My dad's car was broken into. My wedding's on Saturday. All of his items are in there, including his speech on his laptop." Her father added, "It's tragic what happened. We'd really appreciate anyone's help. Personal items in the backpack were taken from a car. We're trying to find them." They are offering a $2000 cash reward for the return of the items, with no questions asked. In an effort to recover the stolen possessions, the family is also seeking access to security camera footage from the Blank Street Coffee building, believing it may hold crucial evidence. "Does anyone have access to this security camera footage at Blank Street?" the daughter asked in her video. The family hopes that community support will help retrieve the items, allowing the father to fully participate in his daughter's wedding.
