« Je facture ses oublis à mon mari » : une maman dévoile sa technique pour soul…
Pour éviter les disputes liées aux tâches ménagères, ce couple a trouvé une méthode radicale : chaque oubli se paie avec de l’argent...
A unique approach to household chore management is gaining traction online, as a couple, known as JESS & DJ, shared their 'invoice system' for maintaining domestic harmony. The system, detailed in a recent video, involves the wife tallying instances where her husband leaves items like clothes or dishes out and subsequently sending him a monetary invoice at the end of the month. The couple, who uploaded their video on August 25, 2025, from the US, explained the mechanics behind their method. "If my husband leaves his clothes beside the hamper and I am the one to pick them up and put them back in, or if he leaves a dish beside the sink and I'm the one who puts it in the sink, I don't complain about it," the wife stated. Instead, she adds it to a running tally. The husband, in response, acknowledged the financial incentive: "It does hurt sometimes, but it... and at first it was a little like, I don't know if it does, but honestly sometimes it's just easier. Depending on the month, if I'm up, hey, get a little bread." The invoices, they revealed, can range from $30 to $600, serving as a deterrent and a way to avoid arguments. The couple emphasized that this system, while potentially unorthodox, works for their marriage, promoting peace over conflict.
