London, UK – An online reseller is offering insights into best practices for selling on platforms like Vinted, advising against common habits that could deter buyers. In a recent video, the seller, known as Zipsale, highlighted three key actions she avoids to maintain a professional reputation and improve customer satisfaction. Firstly, Zipsale strongly advises against spraying items with perfume before shipping. "You might think that you're making an item smell nice, but your customer might think you've worn the item and then not washed it," she explained. She added that once an item travels for a couple of days in a plastic bag, perfume can actually end up smelling "really musky." Secondly, the seller cautioned against including random freebies such as sweets or stickers with orders. "They cost your business money and a lot of people shop on Vinted because they like the sustainability, and they don't want extra items that are just going to end up in the bin," she stated. Finally, Zipsale revealed she does not send multiple messages to potential buyers to encourage purchases. Instead, she utilizes a tool called Zipsale, which automatically sends discounts to anyone who has liked her items on Vinted. "I don't waste time sending multiple messages and I don't want to come across as pushy," she concluded, emphasizing efficiency and a non-intrusive approach to sales.
