Hungary Implements Energy Drink Sales Ban for Minors, Hell Energy Responds with New Product

Budapest, Hungary – A new law in Hungary, enacted in June, now prohibits the sale of energy drinks to individuals under the age of 18. The legislation, adopted in April, defines energy drinks as beverages containing more than 15 milligrams of caffeine per 100 milliliters. In response to this new regulation, Hell Energy Drink, a prominent brand in the energy drink market, has introduced a new product line named "New Gen." This new line features a reduced caffeine content of 13 milligrams per 100 milliliters, ensuring it falls outside the restricted category. This strategic move aims to allow the company to continue serving its younger consumer base while complying with the updated legal framework.
