Ghanaian Foundation Empowers Teen Girls with Sanitary Products and Education

Accra, Ghana – May 30, 2025 – Aabryt Foundation, led by Akosua Sarpong, has been making significant strides in improving the lives of adolescent girls in Ghana. For the past three years, the foundation has been distributing free sanitary pads and panties to teenagers, while also providing crucial menstrual and reproductive health education. Their work is focused on addressing the challenges faced by young girls in accessing essential resources and information. Achimota Anglican Junior High School was the recent location of a distribution event. "We've been doing this for three good years," says Sarpong, highlighting the foundation's commitment.
