
Belarus and Vietnam Forge Strategic Partnership, Boosting Trade and Technological Cooperation
MINSK, BELARUS—In a significant development strengthening ties between Eastern Europe and Southeast Asia, Belarus and Vietnam have formalized a strategic partnership. The agreement, signed on May 12, 2025, promises enhanced cooperation across various sectors, with a particular focus on industrial collaboration and agricultural trade. The Belarusian president, in a statement, emphasized the importance of expanding machine-building exports to Vietnam, highlighting the demand for Belarusian tractors and other equipment. He also noted that the agreement aims to revitalize scientific and technological exchange between the two nations.
