Malaysia's Ar-Rahman Program Eases Hajj for Elderly, Unaccompanied Pilgrims
Malaysia Launches Ar-Rahman Program to Aid Hajj Pilgrims Malaysia's Tabung Haji has launched a compassionate program called Ar-Rahman to assist elderly and unaccompanied Hajj pilgrims. The initiative, running from 7th to 14th Zulhijjah, provides crucial support during the peak pilgrimage season. The program offers assistance with various aspects of the Hajj journey, including guidance on religious rituals and practical help with daily tasks. Azlina Abd Wahid, the head of the program's counseling unit, emphasizes the program's goal of ensuring that all pilgrims, especially those who may need extra care, have a safe and smooth pilgrimage. "Through this program, we identify and assist Hajj pilgrims who may lack support, particularly the elderly and those without companions," she explains. The program's success is evident in the positive feedback from participating pilgrims, who express gratitude for the assistance received. The Ar-Rahman program serves as a testament to Malaysia's commitment to ensuring a comfortable and meaningful Hajj experience for all its citizens.
