Malaysia Simplifies Hajj with New Digital Apps
Malaysia Launches Digital Apps to Ease Hajj Pilgrimage Malaysia's Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) has introduced two digital applications, THJari and THHujjaj, designed to streamline the Hajj pilgrimage for Malaysian pilgrims. The apps, launched on May 27, 2025, offer a range of services aimed at simplifying financial transactions and providing essential guidance throughout the pilgrimage. "These apps are designed to make the Hajj process easier for our pilgrims," said a Tabung Haji official in an interview featured in a recent Berita RTM video. The apps provide features such as online financial management, allowing pilgrims to easily handle their finances. THHujjaj also offers a live Q&A chat feature, providing real-time support and guidance to pilgrims during their journey. Pilgrims interviewed expressed their appreciation for the new apps, emphasizing how much easier it made the process. One pilgrim stated, "It was so much easier than before. I didn't have to worry about the paperwork or the finances." The digital transformation reflects TH's commitment to leveraging technology to enhance the pilgrimage experience for Malaysian Muslims. The initiative is expected to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure a smoother and more accessible Hajj journey for all.
