The project, expected to last until summer 2028, will completely replace the bridge's span structure while maintaining its existing dimensions. This was confirmed in an interview with Dmitry Matskevich, chief engineer of MSU No. 2 of OAO Mostostroy. "Preparatory work, including material procurement, equipment setup, and traffic rerouting, will take about three months," explained Matskevich. "The reconstruction will involve the dismantling of the existing span and the construction of a new metal structure, topped with a reinforced concrete slab." The existing reinforced concrete structure will be replaced with a metal one. A detour has been implemented for motorists via Rogachevskaya Street and the Titovsky bridge. The project signifies a significant investment in Bobruisk's infrastructure, promising improved safety and longevity for this key crossing. The commitment to maintaining the bridge's original dimensions ensures minimal disruption to the city's traffic flow once the reconstruction is complete.
