Bobruisk's Fanokovsky Bridge: A Look Inside Before Reconstruction Bobruisk, Belarus – The Fanokovsky bridge, a vital artery in Bobruisk, is slated for a major reconstruction. Recently, a local media outlet gained exclusive access to the bridge's interior, accompanied by Dmitry Matskevich, chief engineer of MSU-2, OJSC "Mostostroy." The inspection revealed the bridge's current state, highlighting areas in need of repair. "The existing bridge's dimensions will remain the same during reconstruction," Matskevich explained, "but the box girders will be replaced." The video shows the interior of the bridge's box girders, revealing cracks and worn-down areas. The reconstruction, according to Matskevich, is expected to be completed by the summer of 2028, and will involve a full closure of the bridge to traffic. This project signals a commitment to maintaining the city's infrastructure, ensuring the bridge's continued service for years to come.
