Singapore Expands Public Transit: New Bus Routes to Enhance Commutes
Singapore to Boost Public Transportation with New Bus Services in Tengah and Brickland Singapore is set to enhance its public transport network with the addition of several new bus services. Acting Transport Minister Jeffrey Siow revealed plans for two new routes starting from Tengah Bus Interchange and Brickland by the end of 2025. "Between now and the end of this year, there are some good news for our Brickland and Tengah residents," Mr. Siow stated in a recent press conference. The announcement also included plans for six additional bus services by the end of 2026. Two of these will provide direct access to the city center from Brickland, while the remaining four will serve as express feeder services, connecting residents to nearby MRT stations. These feeder services are designed to bring residents to their employment centers more efficiently. The details of the routes and schedules are still being finalized, but the initiative is expected to significantly improve public transport options for residents in the Tengah and Brickland areas, easing commutes and enhancing accessibility to key locations.
