U ponedeljak uveče KC Grad je nakratko postao mesto susreta sa prošlošću – i to na tanjiru.
Belgrade's vibrant Savamala district recently hosted a unique culinary event, the 'Byzantine Deli,' at KC Grad, drawing a significant crowd eager to explore historical gastronomy. Organized by the team behind 'CITY MAGAZINE,' the event offered a menu inspired by Byzantine cuisine, featuring dishes like vegan bulgur pilaf with chickpeas and walnuts, and imperial glazed chicken fillet in honey. The popularity of the event was evident, with the venue filled to capacity and food quickly selling out. Attendees who arrived an hour after the start found themselves without a meal, highlighting the high demand. A representative from 'CITY MAGAZINE' shared his experience, noting his enjoyment of the vegan pilaf, despite a personal lack of enthusiasm for bulgur, and praised the overall concept. He also mentioned enjoying a warm white wine with green apple, a seasonal offering. The event successfully brought a historical culinary experience to a contemporary setting, promising more such themed gastronomic adventures in the future.
