A 2004 Ferrari 360 Modena, once a prized collector's item, has incurred over €2,200 in repair costs after being left unused for a year, highlighting the hidden expenses of neglecting luxury vehicles. The car, which was "saved from the junkyard and restored" by the "desguacemotocoche" team, was stored in a secure garage with the intention of preserving it.However, upon attempting to use the vehicle, its owners discovered a series of significant malfunctions. The battery was dead, the roof lining had detached, the rear wheel bearings were broken, and the car's radio was no longer functional.According to the "desguacemotocoche" hosts, the parts alone for these repairs totaled €2,230. This includes €120 for the radio, €100 for re-upholstering the roof, €426 for a genuine Ferrari underbody cover, €313 for screws and washers, €636 for each of the two rear wheel bearings, and €100 for a new battery. The team also noted that additional labor costs were incurred by bringing in a professional Ferrari specialist from Italy to perform the complex repairs. This incident serves as a stark reminder that even high-end vehicles require regular use and maintenance to prevent costly deterioration.
