Chicago, IL - Gold Coast Exotic Imports, a prominent luxury car dealership, is currently facing a lawsuit from Italian automaker Lamborghini. The lawsuit alleges that the Chicago-based dealer engaged in fraudulent activities by selling at least 32 vehicles in 2023 to unauthorized customers and brokers, in violation of their contract with the automaker. These alleged transactions reportedly generated over $4 million in bonuses for the dealership. Blake Sanburg, a content creator and customer who purchased a Lamborghini Gallardo from Gold Coast Exotic Imports, shared his personal experience, stating he was "not the slightest bit surprised" by the news. Sanburg described his dealings with the dealership as a "nightmare," citing unprofessionalism, incorrect documentation, and attempts to conceal issues with his vehicle. "They didn't provide me correct documentation of the car, on top of the fact that they were trying to hide some of the issues and problems with my Gallardo," Sanburg recounted. He also noted that many others have reached out to him with similar negative experiences from the same dealership.
