La firma china Xpeng AeroHT revoluciona la movilidad con un vehículo híbrido entre coche y dron, que ya tiene precio y fecha de lanzamiento.
Guangzhou, China – Aridge, formerly Xpeng, has officially commenced mass production of its revolutionary Land Aircraft Carrier, the company's inaugural flying car, at its state-of-the-art facility in Guangzhou. This innovative vehicle represents a significant advancement in personal mobility, seamlessly blending the functionalities of an off-road automobile with a vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) drone. Designed to carry two passengers, the Land Aircraft Carrier offers both ground-based driving and aerial flight, promising a new era of versatile transportation. The Guangzhou manufacturing plant is poised for high-volume production, with an annual capacity of up to 10,000 units, equating to one vehicle assembled every 30 minutes. This robust production capability underscores Aridge's commitment to meeting anticipated global demand. During a recent demonstration event held in Dubai, Aridge confirmed an impressive 7,000 global pre-orders for the Land Aircraft Carrier, including 600 specifically from the Middle East region. This strong international interest highlights the widespread anticipation for such advanced aerial mobility solutions. A notable feature for early adopters is that the Land Aircraft Carrier will not necessitate a special license during its initial phases of use, a move expected to accelerate its market integration. Brian Gu, co-president of Aridge, articulated the company's vision, stating, "Our goal with the Land Aircraft Carrier is to fundamentally merge terrestrial and aerial mobility, offering unprecedented freedom and flexibility in travel." Commercial availability for the groundbreaking vehicle is projected to begin in 2026, marking a pivotal moment in the evolution of transportation.
