Volvo Unveils Adventurous EX30 Cross Country Electric SUV GOTHENBURG, Sweden – Volvo has officially unveiled its new EX30 Cross Country, an adventurous variant of its compact electric SUV, designed for enhanced off-road capability. The reveal took place in Sweden, showcasing the vehicle's unique features and robust performance. The EX30 Cross Country boasts widened wheel arches and an increased ground clearance of 19 millimeters, distinguishing it from the standard EX30. Its front grille features a distinctive topographic pattern, inspired by the Kebnekaise massif in Arctic Sweden, a nod to the brand's heritage and design philosophy. Under the hood, the EX30 Cross Country is powered by a 100% electric motor delivering 428 horsepower. It offers an impressive range of 425 kilometers (589 kilometers in city driving) and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in a swift 3.7 seconds. Charging capabilities are equally robust, supporting up to 175 kW DC fast charging, allowing the battery to go from 10% to 80% in just 26 minutes. Inside, the vehicle emphasizes simplicity and sustainability, utilizing recycled materials throughout the cabin. A prominent 12.3-inch central screen serves as the primary interface for all vehicle functions, centralizing controls and information. The new Volvo EX30 Cross Country is priced at 53,405 Euros, aiming to attract consumers seeking a compact, capable, and environmentally conscious electric SUV.
