An Irish content creator, who was robbed of all his things in Portugal, was threatened with an arrest after he remained outside the thieves house
Lisbon, Portugal - An Irish traveler, known online as Fleetwoodjack, has reported a devastating theft in Porto, Portugal, where his van was broken into and all his personal belongings, including crucial professional equipment, were stolen. The incident, which occurred recently, has left the individual without his clothes, camera gear, and most significantly, an external hard drive containing three years of documentary footage from his extensive travels across Africa. "Everything I own, everything I own, all my clothes, all my camera gear, everything," Fleetwoodjack stated in an emotional video, highlighting the comprehensive nature of the loss. He further explained the irreplaceable value of the stolen hard drive, which held the entirety of a documentary project he had dedicated years to. "I never backed it up, so they took my external hard drive. Essentially, the last three years of Africa, all the cinematography aspect of it, it's all gone." Adding to the distress, his passport was also among the stolen items, jeopardizing his planned return to Ireland in two days for family reasons. "I don't even know if I can get back to Ireland without a passport right now," he expressed, detailing the logistical nightmare. The incident has forced him to confront the daunting prospect of starting his life and career anew. Authorities in Porto are investigating the theft, but no immediate arrests have been reported.
